More Problems (breaks)

Im about to let my 90 DSM go, shes slow, and she keeps BREAKING! I dont mind fixing it, its fun, I just dont have the money. I still havent fixed the electrical problem, and now my parking brake is all screwie. The light just stays on, and the lever doesnt feel as taught as it should. I dont know if it broke or just messed up (due to a draging rear brake pad, and a hard core warped front rotor) so Im kinda stuck and upset. How do I adjust the lever or find where the light switch is located?

Oh how I want a BWM 1 series!

Re: More Problems (breaks)

I know the light switch is under the center console, mine was messed up one time because i bent it lol, it always stayed on, then i just bent it back after a day when I figured out thats what I did.

Go buy a haynes manual though. All the other procedures you need will be in that book, its the bible of DSMs .

Re: More Problems (breaks)

I had the same problem that you are having with your brake light. I diconected the battery, took off the center console, unpluged and plunged the wires that lead to the e-brake and the problem was fixed. I hope that helps.
