Tamiya R34 GT-R

Well after being absent from both, forums and modeling, I decided to come back into it with more seriosity.

This car was painted on the balcony with a windy weather, bad set up and rush.
I am not satisfied, alot of dust landed into the paint, and I gave it an overkill last coat. But this one is much better than the ones I have attempted before. On my next project 360 modena, I already planned out my steps and will not rush anymore, I have a goal I want to reach. Anyways, it's almost complete, I just have to go buy some clear glue and masking tape.

Re: Tamiya r34 gt-r

Now thats the difference between a good paint job and a normal kind..! its your final coat and how you spray! I managed to sort of master this as well.. Just need more practice. Love it when i see other people get this kind of paint job!

Thanks.
Yes 360 is a Revell, and I am very disapointed with the quality, but what can you expect from them anyways? :P

Re: Tamiya R34 GT-R

I am really proud of myself for building patience in me. I spend around 25min on these lights. Well anyways it's coming along ok, soon to be finished.

First time I used amber colors, didn't know how thin the paint would be on the first coat, but now i know :P

just testors italian red. I polished a bit, but didn't see much improvement just because the final coat is crappy.

Re: Tamiya R34 GT-R

Well looks like I will have to take apart the headlights because I forgot to paint the inside of the headlight housing. I am mad
