anybody know anything about alarms?
im looking at an AVS 3010, what do you guys think? i know NOTHING about alarm systems.

Looks alright, seems to be a regular alarm system. You have your basic functions like door lock/unlock, panic, valet mode, etc etc.
Seems pretty similar to mine, I have a Viper alarm. Not the pager system with remote start and all that stuff, so far no problems with the basic functions (at least where I live) I spend 199 for everything including installation, good investment.
