Re: Some of my models

Vyacheslav, the glass was made by a pro here in Brazil.
Yelo, yes my focus is Formula 1 at 1/20th scale, the other cars/bikes/scales was made only for fun, very fast assemblies, like "one weekend project", not so serious. I began assembly the models in 1989, a long time ago...
Cheers,
Marcelo.

Re: Some of my models

Very impressive collection!! I take it a majority are the resin/multi media kits?

Re: Some of my models

Thanks friends.

Smoke, I have plastic (Tamiya, Academy, Modelers), resin/multimedia (Iritani, RTN, Red5, AMD, Wolf, S27, ClubM, Modelers, Jorgensen and other brands) and a lot of conversions in my collection. One or two dozens I showed here one by one in the past, the kits not appearing at the pics I'll show soon in another thread.

Cheers,
Marcelo.

Thanks Pippin. Now I'm working on a Benetton B195 and a Ferrari 310 (first part of 96' season).
Cheers,

Wow, impressive collection.
Where can I get the Benetton B191 and the Ferrari F310 in 1/20 or 1/24?
Can you help me with that problem? I really would like to built Schumachers first Benetton / Ferrari

Re: Some of my models

Yes Ferrari2k, I think I can help you.
The Benetton B191 is from Py Models, a Brazilian factory that no longer exists, I'm sorry to inform but is almost impossible to find these kits today, even here in Brazil.
But to build the Ferraris 310, there's the BBR kits (I assembly F1 only at 1/20 scale, I don't know if there's some kit at 1/24th), but the Italian kits are very expensive.
Here is the 1996's 310 (second part of the season):

And now the surprise, these model was a very bad Maisto's die-cast that I dismouted (is it writen right in English?) and assembled again as we do with resin kits. The tires/rims are Tamiya and the decals are Museum Collection:

Now I'm converting another die-cast to the first part of 96 season car (low nose version):

Re: Some of my models

PS.: these Maisto's die-cast are 1/20th scale and have good design/proportions, but they come with 1/18th scale rims/tires, you need to replace it using the 310B's pieces from Tamiya.

Well, then I will look out if I can get my hands on the F310 Thanks for information. Pity about the B191....

Re: Some of my models

Great collection of F1 cars you have there. You must build quite a few per year.
Ferrari2k I believe st27 made the Benetton b191, so you might want to check places like HLJ to see if they have it.
