Re: 3.8 v6 supercharged swap

Dude first off quit using that big of a damn font!!

Any engine swap is very possible just depends on how deep your pockets are, also I can tell you that no one here has done that specific swap before. And I have never seen nor heard of this swap before.

*EDIT* I just thought to myself....there isnt even such thing as a Pontiac Daytona. Theres a Chrysler/Dodge Daytona. the only 3800 series SC engine from pontiac is in the Grand Prix SC. So NO it is not possible to do a Pontiac Daytona engine swap.

3800 series sc engine out of Grand Prix

Re: 3.8 v6 supercharged swap

Not to mention the Dodge/Chrysler Daytona was only offered till '93 and it never had a SC engine, it did have a turbo version though that came out in 1990.

Re: 3.8 v6 supercharged swap

Yes a 3800 SC can be put into a Cavy, and yes it has been done before. I have heard of 2 different people that have done it. Also, yes a V8 has been put in a cavy as well. It was on ebay a while ago. Search the forum and you'll find plenty of post on both.

*Edit* Damnit Cody beat me to the punch

I assumed that's what he meant. There is no pontiac daytona...just a dodge daytona and I dont think those engines were sc'ed. I figured he was talking about the 3800 out of the grand prix
