1996 Grand Am Coolant Leak. Help...

I have a 1996 Grand AM SE. I have a major coolant leak. If you are looking at the engine from the front of the car it is coming from under the air intake by the block. I am thinking it is a bad head gasket or a cracked manifold. I can only drive about 20 miles before the coolant is completely gone. Any ideas on a quick fix or a way to tell where the leak is coming from. Cost?

No quick fix here. I assume you have a 3100 engine? It's most likely a leaking lower intake gasket. Just be glad it leaking OUTSIDE the engine instead of inside..

if its leaving puddles under the throtle body(TB), its most likly the intake gasket.

Check and make sure it is not coming from the coolant lines that run into the TB. Sometimes they crack/bust and leak.

And Welcome to AF !
