The new season of Lost..

.. started out with such a disappointing premiere. Anyone remember the season 2 premiere? Where we learned all these cool secrets about the hatch? The only thing new we learned from this episode was that the leader's name is Ben. Big fuckin deal, who cares? Plus, it was another Jack flashback episode, I think we've seen enough of this crybaby with daddy issues.

If this is a preview for the whole season, I think I'm in for one major letdown.

Re: The new season of Lost..

I kinda wish I had gotten into Lost so I could watch now and understand what the hell is going on. I watched one episode last season and felt like I was in a grad level physics class.

But then again, if I had watched from the beginning I would have to watch now and I don't need anything else distracting me.

I actually started watching Lost only about two months ago. A friend of mine from work let me borrow the first season on DVD and I ran through those discs in about 2 weeks. It was just my luck that the second season came out on DVD a couple weeks later, and I picked those up at blockbuster. I was able to cram two seasons in before the third one started last night I would highly suggest searching around for someone with the DVD, coming from a film student, Lost is some of the best TV you can watch.

That was a great premiere!!! They cant devuldge all secrets in 60 min but it did start off great. So many questions are left to answer. Did you catch the part when sauyer was in the cage and said to the "other" that he figured out his little game to ge the fish cookie, and the other said it only took the bears 2 hours....Polar bears I assume.....I also read they will be playing a bigger role this season. Also the story line this season will focus more on characters and there romance as well as alot of action rather then speculation and weird occurrences. This was the paper this past week. Great episode I enjoyed it.

I would. I actually used to work at Movie Gallery and still have friends there so I can get any DVD I want, but then all I would do is watch Lost. Thats exactly what happened when I first watched Sopranos. ALL I did for two weeks was wake up, go to work, come home to Sopranos, fal asleep, start over.

Re: The new season of Lost..

I only got to watch the first 20 minutes or so as I had to take our new puppy outside to do it's business, so I set the vcr ( yes I said vcr) to tape the rest. It was pretty slow in the beginning but some episodes are. I expect the pace to pick up somewhat as the weeks go on. I did a little research into the actress who played Juliet as I thought I had seen her before. I seem to remember her playing a doctor or a shrink who was a lesbian on some show a few years back but couldn't remember the show, ( I thought it might have been Ally McBeal but that show didn't appear in her bio.) She has been in many tv series in the past few years, but does anybody know which character and which show I'm talking about that she might have appeared in? I also came across this blog of spoilers while researching the character of Juliet. Here is a link if you care to "look ahead":http://spoilerslost.blogspot.com/

Re: The new season of Lost..

I got lost with Lost

I understand the concept behind it but its one of those shows that you can just watch one or two times a month, people die alot and storyline changes. I remember it went from 2 of them about to find a way out to a girl dying lol

Re: The new season of Lost..

Man, last night's episode made me feel so much better. I'm thinking the premiere was originally written as a two part episode, but for whatever reason ABC decided to show it seperately. This second episode was so much more fulfilling and offered some closure.

That's the way to do it, I don't have HDTV access, but who needs it when you have mininova?
