SR20 Is Finished! need help with minor problems
Well After about 6 months my swap is finally completed. my SR20 is sitting pretty in my engine bay with a few minor ticks id like to work out. if anyone has any solutions to these problems, or maybe just some suggestions they would be greatly appreciated
My first problem thats been bothering my engine is that when i get on it hard, after its back at idle it almost dies out and if i really get on it , and do it enough it will stall out. this is a very annoying problem. ( i havent checked my timing since i started the car , i plan on doing this sometime soon ) Second is my gauges, My speedo is very annoying as it sometimes works, sometimes displays the wrong speed, My water temp gauge only worked like twice when i first started up the car, but would often drop the needle while i was moving around. Also my Fuel Gauge isnt working at all. Also i have a semi-large red wire that has a hook and a bracket for a nut that sort of resembles a ground, coming off my tranny, any idea's what this is? if anyone needs pictures i can post them up later. thanks in advance for any help *EDIT* i also have a black fluid of some sort spattered on the bottom side of my exhaust manifold, looks like its spraying up, thought id throw that out there

thats just a breather for your tranny. bolt it up to the tranny with the hole facing upwards, don't know about the other stuff.. you might just need to check out some wiring

try turning up your idle for the DYING problem...(lil nut and screw on the throttle body)
as far as the fuel gauge goes, did you install a new fuel pump? you could have messed somthin up there.
