olds 88 pobs.

I have a 94 olds 88 royale 3800 vin L engine. When i start it, it idles really rough and makes sort of a constant "whoosing" noise like it's sucking an excesive amount of air through the throttle body. it clears up after about 2 minutes but if i jerk the throttle it clears up right away. i get a mass air flow dtc and i replaced the maf to no avail.....any suggestions?.thanks in advance

Welcome to AF. Check the pcv valve o rings, also check for vacuum leaks around the throttle body.

Try cleaning: http://www.lesabret.com/phpBB/viewtopic.php?t=4054

I bet your IAC valve is clogged up pretty bad.
