vtec-e is for like the gas mileage cars, such as the 92-95 Civic Vx or 96-2000 Civic HX. Less HP and more gas mileage.

normal VTEC consists of stock height cam lobes and VTEC cam lobes which open the valves higher than stock for more performance
VTEC-E is basically smaller primary lobes and when the VTEC-e kicks in, its running about the same as a VTEC on stock lobes. get it?

The 96-2000 Civic HX D16Y has 115 bhp @ 6200 and 104 lb-ft @ 5400. I wouldnt mind one of those but would rather have the z6 or y8

LOL - the D15B computer-controlled twin Keihin carbed engine we got over here put out 100bhp - 102 in JDM spec I understand
Awesome fuel economy along with a motor that was really zippy So much for VTEC-E
