Rear intermittent wiper mod?

I did a search and came up with nothing.

I want to add an intermittent rear wiper delay to my 89 hatch. I got one of those "universal" boxes but the instructions do not cover my application. Has anyone done this before? Any info is appreciated. Thanks!

look at a wiring diagram for the front wipers, cant be THAT different. Remember the firsts mods were done by trial and error, they didnt have people handing them instructions

Agreed, I've been looking at the diagrams but am having a hard time figuring them out. Perhaps if I get another control module from the junkyard and start experimenting with that.... As a plan B, I've been thinking I could adapt the rear wiper system from a Jeep or Caravan, they are similar to what I want mine to do, but that might be even more difficult. I have a universal delay box but have decided again using it because it's too big and ugly. I just wanted to put out the post and see if anyone else had tried this with good results so I can minimize the chance of setting my car on fire.
