bad clutch?
I am looking at buying a 2000 z24 cavalier, black, fully loaded, 5speed and I was wondering how to tell if the clutch is bad. The car shifts like a dream (going between gears) but when I pushed the clutch in to start off, it was almost pulsing, clicking on my foot. I used to own a 99z24 5spd and I don't remember that car doin this. That car shifted like crap though. This car has 150000km's on it. Also, how much space is between like 1-2nd. It felt like I was moving the shifter 8inches at least. Thanks.
