01 Power Lock Problems...

Hey all,

Hoping to possibly find some help on this one for my 01 GASE.
Just gettin around to finally wanting to get my power locks fixed...2 years after they stopped working.

If you click the lock button while in the vehicle it will make a clicking sound from somewhere...can't really track it down...but no locking. Unlocking nothing happens, which I would believe is because they are not locked.
My first guess was the relays within the panel on the drivers side but I CANNOT get any of those out. Do you just pull on them? Normally I don't have any problems with electrical equipment but these have me stumped ! I was told possibly the BCM was the problem which scared me off of fixing them but I'm just having a hard time believing it because everything else that the BCM controls is working flawlessly.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks all,
Jon

Re: 01 Power Lock Problems...

I would say its probly the lock relay, they can be tough getting out. I use pliers and wiggle it, the unlock is above it. Might be easier to remove it then the bottom lock relay.
