Question Changing Climate Control to Digital???

Hey Fellas! I have a 2005 Silverado with manual climate controls and am wanting to swap that unit out for a digital climate control. Will this just be an issue of switching them out or will the digital control not work with my existing plugs? Any advise would be greatly appreicated. Thanks a million!

Re: Changing Climate Control to Digital???

I know there has been some discussion on this before, and from what I recall it is not a direct swap. The electric HVAC uses several sensors in the ducts for temperature and (probably) uses some type of motorized dampers to vary the airflow from the dash to the floor.

Likely, it's a lot of work ($$) to incorporate the auto HVAC. Others may be able to offer more specifics.
