i have a 1998 civic DX coupe. I want to do a engine swap. Whats a good swap not to expensive. and where do i get the motor. Please Help

expect to spend some money,you figure a motor,tranny,ecu,axles depending on motor,wiring harness and labor,or if you do it yourself
time reputable places will charge around 3000 for a turn key swap. |

yeah, what J said is about right. You should consider doing an LS swap into your car. It would be a whole lot more torque than what you have now and when you get sick of it in a year throw a turbo into it...
I believe an LS swap runs around 2800-3200 bucks.

You could go with the b16a. I'm getting mine for 2,700 out the door. Or, you could go with one of the sohc vtec engines. They are a lot cheaper but they still make a decent amount of power. Integra ls engine is a good choice too. It all depends on how much power you want, how much money you have, and where you eventually want to go with it.
