Trans Update

Ok,after I put 2 bottles of lubeguard in my trans it worked much better but still would shudder some when hitting overdrive.
So I said what the heck and bought some of that transmatisc and a new filter .I pulled the pan and drained all I could but only get about 5 qts back in.
I put the additive in and took it for a test drive. It shudder once the first time and have not noticed a problem since. It shifting smooth as silk now.It probably needed a change but don't know if the transmatic was a lot of help or not.
I'm just glad it in goog working order.I may wait a while and try a flush.
Funny thing is the trans shop owner said the trans was gone.iI'm glad I did a little troubleshooting myself!

Excellent !! Way to go!!

Glad to hear you cured the shudder. Now that you've resolved to take care of it, you'll never see that shudder again..

BTW, I concur waiting awhile before a full flush.. 30/40k miles should be fine.
