shaking at takeoff

Over the last few weeks, my S-10 ('97, 4.3L, 5spd 4WD) has began shaking when I takeoff from a stop. Its fine if I'm rolling even a little bit. Its also fine when cruising (no vibrations ect...). I just can't get going from a stop without it shaking pretty badly. I don't know if its a clutch issue, something with the driveshafts, u-joints, or what? Any help is appreciated.

Re: shaking at takeoff

Sounds like your trunion bearing which is the bearing your yoke rides on that goes into your differential. There is a crush sleeve that is inbetween your trunion nut and the bearing that will wear over time, which will allow some endplay allowing the vibration. You are probably leaking fluid out of the seal in front of the differential also. A new crush sleeve and seal should do the trick.

Sounds like a clutch problem.
