Looking For Opinions On The G35 Coupe =)

Hey all. I am going to most likely buying a new g35 coupe and was looking to make it faster and was wondering if anyone had some advice. If anyone could tell me what type of stuff I should add at what $ cost and how much HP it would add that would be great. I am trying to stay under 5-10k most likely. I was thinking of stuff like headers , exhaust in take and other stuff but am not a specialist =) any info would be great hehe. Thanks again.

yes my friend aj has this car and hes only 16. we go racing all the time and he has been invincible since he got it. it has 260 hp stck and it is a 12.8 second car. that al i have to say about that. we also wreckwed it last weekend and it help up very nicley we even drove it home. well you reallyu need this car. ill be back

this car is great, prices are competitive. power and handling is soo worth the cost. lookin into one myself, but havent seen any aftermarket parts really. just wait and see. but i think 280 hp will do just fine for a while.

Sorry bmxguy525, not to be a pain, but your friend doesn't have the Coupe. The Coupe isn't out yet (11/4 release) Probably the sedan though. Similar car, but shares no sheetmetal, just interior dashboard. The sedan is a nice car, but is only in Auto right now. It does have 260 hp, but I doubt it can do a 12.8 1/4 mile, seeing as how that's darn near Viper territory. Don't get me wrong, I'm not bashing the car, I'm simply saying it's not THAT fast.

Re. the Coupe, I've got one on order, should have it by the end of Nov. if the dealer holds his promise to sell at MSRP. 280 HP, 18" wheels, 6 speed manual, Brembo brakes, should pay about $34,500 for mine. Sweet sweet car. Sat in one last week, prototype that's running the dealer circuit. Didn't get to drive it, but started it up. Sounds sweet. Interior is OK, could be better, but no complaints.

lol wow im back. i havent seen this thing for over a year ago. i remember that wreck. i dont know what i was thinkin.....12.8? thats crazy! i now have a 95 gsx and im lucky to run a low 14 with a few tweeks. i was just a kid then and that was the fastest car i have ridden in before i actually got into the racin scene...i was a dumb prep with a rich friend. things have changed now, i screwed his girlfriend that was actually in the car with us, and now hes off to the military this summer. my girlfriends dad has the g35 sedan and i drive it all the time and its not nearly as fast as my gsx.they supposedly run a 14.9 accirding to car-stats.com. i was a crazy kid then. lata, one things right though. i came back.

Stock 95 GSX runs high 14's, stock 03 G35 sedan runs mid 14's with a manual, high 14's with an auto.
