Sucks

Finally got a car, a few weeks later my girlfriends mom smashes the fender with her Toyota Sequia or w/e the hell (a few months ago) whatever, my dad used to own a body shop, we'll paint it. We'll now it's still wrecked, spark plugs need changed but dad keeps pushing it off and won't let me change them, tranny fluid hasn't been changed in 110,000 miles and keeps pushing it off, can't go to my senior homecoming because my g/f would have to stay over (she lives 80 miles away) and the bathroom is half torn apart (who the hell cares? she doesn't!) school is impossible, I have to make a decision about college basically now and I've visited one and I'm just picking Marketing as a major for the hell of it. (sorry for the long ass run on) Girlfriend has been bitching at me non stop for every little thing because her friends "kicked her out of their group" (I havn't had any friends since freshman year) and gets pissed if I want to hang out with my friends when someone DOES ask me to do something. Everything sucks balls right now I'm just so stressed out I don't know what to do. I was going to not see her this weekend and paint the car but my dad is saying we need two weekends which means no ride to homecoming if I can go and girlfriend will be pissed about not seeing her one week. Ughh you guys don't even have to say anything I'm just venting I'm sorry guys.. Thanks for reading

Re: Sucks

Ah I don't knoww, I'm more interested in marketing than most other things. I would really like to do video/audio engineering but it would be hard to get a job and not pay well. I would love to do car stuff too, but I would get sick of it probably plus not make alot of cash. But thanks though, it's really nice just having someone read all that bs lol Thanks man..

Re: Sucks

I sorta feel your pain, cuz when you're in high school situations like yours are absolutely the shitty. But once you go to college and beyond, it gets worse. I wish my list of problems matched yours

As for now. Your dad probably isn't forgetting on purpose, but I assume he has a lot of things to worry about and painting your bumper hasn't made its way to the top of the list yet.

He probably won't let you change the spark plugs because he assumes you don't really know how. If you REALLY do, then do it. If you don't, he's right.

Girls are a pain in the ass sometimes. They tend to magnify their problems to the point of global meltdown. She'll get over it. Girls just don't like other girls.

As long as you decide to maintain relationships with females, their problems WILL be your problems. And if you decide to not let her problems be your problems, she will become your problem.

I'm not sure I understand your homecoming delima, but it seems your parental units won't let your gf stay the night with you. Make your case as best you can. If they trust you to act like you've got sense, then it will happen. If they have reason to believe otherwise, then so be it.

Re: Sucks

i feel accord on this, if u can change the spark plugs, then do so yourself. i mean, it should be like under 10 bucks total for 4 of them.

yes girls are a pain most of the time. they will magnify the problem to about infinity x 10 ^658234902374983 time. its ususally not that big of a deal. just let it in one ear and out the other. if she is more worried about you havin 'friends time' if you wanna call it, y dont you just invite her with you?

sure, who ares if the parents say she cant stay over since she is about 80 miles away, if your over 18, just crash somewhere, or have her crash in your bed while your crashed on the sofa or something. just remember to take her back in the morning. is has worked in the past for me, but i do have lienient parents.

marketing will just cause you mroe troubles, as it is a highly stressed out major/job. but if its something that you would really like to do, go ahead. i mean i know a lot of people that they have a minimum wage job for the governments sake, and do car audio/installs and stuff on the side. thats what really pays for their cars and house. if you are really good at car audio install, why dont you just try and open up your own car audio shop? give that a thought.

just my 2 cents.
