Haveing some probelms with a 1996 eagle talon PLEASE HELP!!!
I have a 96 talon Tsi Awd It has a super 16g turbo...front mont intercooler... am fuel pressure regulator...blitz super sound blow off val... its only running at 100 rmp's when sitting still just trying to find out whats wrong with it...

Is there any other problems when its doing this. LIke lets say when your driving, does it surge/ is it slow, will it make boost? Try loosening your BISS I KNOW thats not the problem but I just want to see if it has any affect. If you don't know where or what the BISS (base Idle screw)

its takes for ever to get up to speed.... its really hard even to get up to 55 mph and sometimes when i take off there is black smoke...

man can you take a short vid of your car just idling (with the hood up). Maybe we can see something obvious, try and show us the intercooling pipe too.

if i am not mistaken, the first line on the tach is actually 500 rpms, the minimum the idle screw should adjust to is 550. without any more info, it sounds like its running rich, way too rich. too many possibilities with such little info. thats about the only way it will still operate without stalling all the time.
