2000 Taurus, with an impending need for drive axle service.
Nuts on front wheel spindles---we're needing a deep socket and the nuts appear to be 30 MM. Question: Will a 1 3/16 inch deep socket fit? Which socket should we get? Inquired mind needs to know. Thanks Jake |

30 mm = 1.181"
1 3/16" = 1.1875" Depends on how tight your nut is and how much torque you need to apply to loosen it. The extra slop may not be a problem. You will have to make the call when you get the socket on the nut. I use a 30 mm and even that has some slop to it. |
