intake gaskets

Can someone please give me a guestimate as far as how much it would cost me to get the intake gaskets replaced on my 2000 astro. Thanks for any info.

Re: intake gaskets

should bill out about 5.5 hrs times the labor rate plus parts. this does vary.

Re: intake gaskets

About four months ago, it cost me $28, not counting new DexCool. I spent about 10 hours, but I also performed a few other tasks while I was into it, like cleaning the lower plenum and manifold, injector pod and poppets, upper plenum, throttle body, IAC, intake ductwork, and lifter valley, replacing the distributor cap, rotor, wires, and plugs, changes oil after running to clean out any bits and pieces I might have missewd or loosened, and took my time assembling the dog house, dash, and center console so it was straight and snug. Somebody trying to beat flat rate isn't likely to be as careful unless it's their own vehicle.

Got a problem like this, do you?

It's a little snug, but there is room to do it without too much trouble:
