Re: 95z question

ya i dont mean to race like that but in a 25 mph zone itd be nice to hold it in first so u dont have to wait for the down shift. i guess in a way i do mean race like that but not from zero.

Re: 95z question

Auto's with 3.23's have 1-2-3-D. Auto's with 2.73's have 2-3-D.

Cause GM has a cookie sense of humor. They like to see the look on the face of the guy who cheaped out on the performance rear axle option when he gets in car to drive off the lot and say's "Hey WTF happen to my first gear !!!"

I did, the idiot owner before me put in 2.73's even though my car came with 3.23's from the factory . Ofcourse the PCM was never reprogrammed for the 2.73's so imagine the look on my face when I was getting pulled over for doing like 86 when my speedo was like 67 .

Night and day difference though. you will be like a 1/2 second quicker in the 1/4 (maybe even faster than that). Good luck.
