Cool 172hp.(JIS) CIVIC SIR-II.

Hi people today I post my `91 Civic SIR-II.This is to me the most beautiful hatchback in the story of the automobile.
The kit is the one (& only) of Hasegawa in 1/24. To be sincere , the kit could be better. The overall aspect of the body is just acceptable and the wheels look like ones found on Euro & US CRX del Sol but without plating.I had to shave the spokes to give them a little more accuracy. The kit is simple and wheels turn. The steering wheel is a four spoke Momo which makes me think if it was a special JDM version called SIR-S, I donīt know , someone correct me.
I used for to paint it airbrushed X-11 (enamel) and metallic blue over it.Then a layer of shiny clear from Humbrol. Although the car looks green in the pics , it ainīt , itīs blue. And the yellow seats were original equipment for this car.
Well , regards to all.

Wow, shiny paint, but how come the pics turn out green?

I have a question, for the black window decal, did it give you any trouble, I screwed up and ripped the rear 2 pieces

Looks great. We need to get you to Lau-Bak some photos for us. You models would look hot in a 'natural' setting.

Explanations.

First of all thanks to all , because this little kit ainīt worth of that compliments , it was made many years ago and there are many flaws on it.
The green effect is due to the yellowish halogen lights of my kitchen.
About the black window decal...sorry ,could you explain me that once more itīs because I donīt know if youīre referring to the rear "civic/SIR" emblems or may be the window pretection for to paint on the inside the black stripes...just tell me.

That thing of the pictures..is for to putting at their back a real landscape or so? and to take a shoot?
I did it once , but at the contrary.I shoot my black Z32 Fairlady-Z Twin Turbo in my terrace. At the back were nothing interesting , but in the front of it , it was that day an spectacular sunset, which made the car, with that sun reflects, look really spectacular. But I lost the pics sadly.

I expect my cousin to let me use his webcam to make some digital shoots.

I mean the black windown trim, are you saying they are actually masks??

wow, I'm confused as well, haha

Well, you know the black outline decals that goes around that windows that you stick from the inside~

I teared the ones for the rear glass section, does that mean I'm left with the option of painting it?

Lightbulb window decals-

Ah ,yes , it has passed son many time that I finish it , that not even remember that there was a decal as such.Well in fact i never put that kinda decals. I paint them by hand or aided by a little piece making time. With pulse can be done well.
Another kinds decals I donīt like are that ones of the windscreens.
