hand brake ajustment
I have 1968 MGB.Need to adjust my hand brake so it can stop me in an emegency.How?

If you don't have one already, you should get the Bently factory service manual for your car.
Chris Betson has a repair manual available online at http://www.octarine-services.co.uk/ click on "enter my forum" It takes quite awhile to download. First you need to make sure the rear brake shoes are adjusted properly. Second, look at the base of the handbrake handle and see if there is an adjustment there, also look where the cable from each wheel joins and see if there is an adjustment point there. |
