Alignment adjustments....
Hello again fellow porschephiles,
I am looking for links, data, advice, etc...... It is once again time to purchase tires for my 944 and before I do I wnat to tweak the rear wheel alignment. My left rear tire wears on the inside at a much greater rate then the right rear. When I view the vehicle from behind (she's got a sweet tail!) I can visibly notice that the wheels slant outward vertically (the top of the tires are closer together then are the bottoms) The word Camber comes to mind yet I dont know how to properly explain using that terminology. This occurs either loaded or unloaded, but I have not looked to see if the loaded condition is more or less then unloaded condition. If anyone can advise as to where the adjustments are made it would be greatly appreciated. ALSO.... reccommendations on tires would be appreciated. I am a daily driver and conservative except I exceed highway speed occasionally... I am looking for a good budget minded tire yet do not want to waste dollars on cheap crap tires. I prematurely wore out a set of Khumo's due to this alignment and was happy with their value to performance. My budget will afford a set of rears at this time with the fronts due soon after (I do like the way she corners) Thanks for your anticipated replies,
