2001 AC LIghts

My wife has an 01 impala ss. And she has the dual climate control for both driver and passenger. One of the lights went out (driver side), is there any easy way of changing out that one particular bulb?

Thanks

I would guess that you need to remove the whole unit from the dash, possibly the AC control head too if seperate, can not recall the exact picture of what they look like. If no one answers for sure, I will look in the factory manual tonight.

I replaced mine about a month ago. You have to take the entire front panel off (one piece) and disconnect the climate control, then take it apart and solder new ones on.

There are companies that have after market LED conversion lamps, or ah at least they do for the Impala. so not only do you get a light source that will out last the car, they also have cool colors too.
