I recently bought a 95 and someone had installed an EL glow gauge face. In the process they rendered the fuel gauge non-functional by pressing the needless on too tight and they were dragging.
I managed to fix it myself, but before I fixed it I investigated some options. I emailed

I have an 89 s10 BLAZ THAT HAS LOST IT'S SPEEDO ODO AND TRIP SET. I HAVE CLEANED AND REWIRED GROUND SO I KNOW IT NEEDS TO BE REPLACED. DEALERS SAID THEY WOULD HAVE TO REMOVE IT AND SEND IT OUT FOR REPAIR . IS THIS THE ONLY WAY TO FIX THIS PROBLEM OR DO I HAVE AN AFTER MARKET SOLUTION?
