Brake light on.

I have a 2002 Sienna.

recently, the brake light started coming on when conering, accelerating, and sometimes stays on for longer time.

I checked the fluid level, it is well above minimum. Also, I never hear the high pitch sound that suppose to come up if the brake pad is getting thin.

What could be causing this behavior? or what I should check first?

Any tip/hind will be greatly appreciated.

I recently had the same problem. I didn't think our fluid level was too low. But then I read in other places that it doesn't take much of a drop in fluid level to cause the brake light to come on. So I added a little bit and the problem was solved.
