Transmission question

I have a 1988 s-10 blazer that has a blown 4.3 and a 700 r4 tranny and i also have a 1987 s-10 blazer that has the 2.8 and the no tranny i was wondering if i could put my 700 r4 in the blazer with the 2.8.

no that bolts to 3.1L ,3.4L,2.5L and 2.8L
