Okay, I've tried everything and I can't find the proper metal brake line for my car. I've got a '94 Cavalier RS, 3.8. I need a new front Brake line(Not hose). Problem is the threading on the 3/8" line is a coarse thread and all I can find is a fine thread. All the auto places I've talked to say they don't have the proper line. They're not even listing that the car has that type of line or the type of master cylinder that is on the car. They're saying that in their listings there should only be 2 lines coming out of it when mine has 4. So, if some one could help me out or at least point me in the right direction I would really appreciate it. Thanks.

Re: Problem finding the proper brake line
your car must have a 3.1 as the 3.8 was never offered in a Cavi. GM uses special lines from the factory that have non-standard fittings on them (to keep the shop workers from hooking them up backward). You will need to purchase a European threaded metric bubble flare line (4.75mm dia) that fits the smaller end, and an adaptor for the larger threaded end, as no one makes brake lines with the different fittings on them. There are 4 lines coming from the master cylinder, two come off horizontal, and two come off at a 45 degree angle heading down. At the parts store, look for the line with the blue anodized threaded fittings, as the red threaded fittings are japanese thread, and incorrect. Have the "parts monkey" pull the master cylinder so you can get the proper adaptor that screws into it, the other end should have the standard size fitting that comes on the line on it.
