check this out
ok...i just blew the transmission on my 95 2.2L and thats about to be replaced. right after that is done. im going to replace the head gasket since it is blown. im taking off the head myself and taking it to a machine shop to have them do what they do. while the head is off, im trying to address the "mystery miss" issue that all these cavi's seem to be having. im running on 3 cylinders apparently and i got new plugs, wires, ignition coils, and replaced every sensor i could think of. so the only think that is left is the ICM (ignition control module...so im thinking....if i throw one of those on and replace the ignition coils with the ACCEL Super DIS coils and the ACCEL wireset....maybe that will kill the miss? or maybe i need a new engine computer.....any thoughts?

You don't think the miss was caused by the bad head gasket?
