I never pass up an opportunity to point out stuff thats screwed up about Canada. Snooty bastards with their low crime rates and free health care. What good is free health care if nobody's gettin shot or stabbed on the streets!?!?

Bridges fail; it's a fact of life. If you read the article to the end, you'll see the real problem is the failure of the police to respond when they were told about the chunks falling off the bridge.
Title should be, "Damn You Montreal (or suburb) Police!"

Saw this... looks like what happened here in PA a little less than a year ago. Only difference here was that it was "only" the sidewall of the bridge that failed.
Concrete/construction materials don't last forever... something is bound to fail at some point. I fail to see how this applies to Canada rather than the negligent police.
