2001 Blazer Slipping

Hi there, I'm new to the forum. My Blazer "slips" while I'm driving it. I cannot find a correlation to time of year, temperature, level of gas, time of day. It happens at different speeds, it almost feels like I'm sliding on ice (even in the middle of the summer), I don't notice a rise in the tach during an incident.

The problem is, I'm the only one that has felt it while driving so I can't get anyone to believe me (I hardly believe I am THAT bad of a driver !)

My battery is fully charged.

Any insight would be WONDERFUL, it is driving me crazy and I'm afraid to take it on long trips.

In the past I have been able to stop the car, turn it off, wait ten seconds, restart and there wouldn't be a problem.

Please advise,

Thanks so much!
