Dale,
I have found directions and completed the repair. If need to replace steering position senson on a 2001, it is a piece of cake. Mine had some how just popped out of its retainer and I just snapped it back. Just be careful as directions recommend disabling the SIR not only the fuse but the connector under drivers dash, passenger side under dash, front seat side air bag and passenger seat side air bag.
