Oil in the Airbox?
Today i took off the top part of the airbox and what do i see? A puddle of oil beneath the filter. Has this happen to anyone else and is this a huge problem?

Re: Oil in the Airbox?
Stock filter or aftermarket like Comptech or K&N?
Aftermarket filters use cleaning oil to clean the filter instead of having to replace them every few months. Maybe it could be this cleaning oil.

Re: Oil in the Airbox?
Everything in my car is stock.
I know that they do use the oil for the filter and i figured some of it was that but it just seemed alittle to much. I could be paranoid. Thanks for the response. |

Re: Oil in the Airbox?
Is it filter oil or is it the consistency of motor oil?
If it feels like and looks like motor oil, you probably need to replace the PCV valve. That is all I would being to think would be the problem on an otherwise stock car.
