Smile greetings all

*tips hat*
hey everyone, new to the board and just wanted to introduce myself.

hailing from toronto. i've been slapping together kits on and off for the past couple of years with little if any semblance of proficiency just getting into it a bit more seriously now.

just finished a laser blue 'street' (tamiya 98 wrc monte carlo) impreza with gunmetal rims. quite like the understated looks as opposed to the rally decal orgy out of the box.

currently working on a street version of a tamiya 01 wrc impreza (see a pattern???) which i've painted red mica to match subaru's sedona red pearl. i must say the metallic maroon/red really shows off the lines of the impreza well! elected to stick with the gold rims out of the box, they look a bit small (16"ish) but the gold contrasts nicely with the red mica. also stuck with the foglight covers and painted the eyelids on the morettes (jdm projectors)

promise to have some eyecandy for everyone as soon as i can figure out how to upload pics from my camcorder

cheers,
brian

thanks folks

been trawling through some of the other threads and it's nice to see a forum where people actually answer questions with more than "do a search n00b!"

Welcome to the group! Just 'cuz we're nice, don't excuse you from using the search in the first place. :o

I've been working on two different WRX for a while now... The new WRx from Tamiya and the older WRX Wagon from Hasegawa... To be finished sometime...
