Re: power seat issues

Check the fuses. Lumbar and heater are 1 fuse and the rest is another and a relay also I believe. Look in the owners manual - it shows which are which and if in the door fuse panel or underhood.

Exactly the same problem. Lumbar works, other 2 switches don't. Operators manual does not show fuses for power seats either in dash or under hood but all fuses in both boxes are okay. I've seen other posts on this issue where the owner had the memory feature (I don't) and it was resolved by disconnecting the battery for 1 minute and reconnecting and the relay must have reset and solved the proble. hamlinhazel had mechanic find short in wire under backseat requiring removal of seat. How have others resolved ?

a classic problem in these vehicles, if you're having problems with the power seats, address it immediatley. there have been numerous reports of seats catching on fire from wiring problems even with the ignition off. there should have been a recall, in my opinion.
