Looking 4 info?

Hi Ranger , I got the very same kit as you.I still ain´t started it , but in the meantime I managed to get scannings of its original dealer catalogue ! A real rarity , for a car that was produced just in 800 units.
Shame about the chassis. It´s depressing just looking at it. The BBS wheels are also incorrect. The most similar ones are the Aoshima´s BBS RG.Although not equal. The seats ; even the steering wheel don´t belong to the `87 GTS-R but , rather , the `85 GTS-X.
Well let me know If you are interested in sending you pics or so.
Ah the real one was made in dark metallic blue or black.

I do intend to make an R31 and an R30 in the future. Gotta build the set

I've ordered a R31 from HLJ and I have the Tomica R30 Silhouette racer from GT2.

Fujimi R 31 GTS-R

I built this R31 a while ago, and the quality of the kit is fair at best. This curbside appears to be an older mold, and the interior and underpan feature minimal detail. The wheels are a size too small for the body, but other than the bulky rear spoiler, I feel the body is a pretty accurate representation of this model. The wheels steer.
The real car was a homologation special (Nissan constructed only 800 so the car could qualify to race in a certain division), and technically this model is an R31 GTS-R. Peformance was fair but nowhere near the R32 Godzilla that would succeed it and bring respectability back to the GT-R badge. Many do not consider this car part of the GT-R heritage, but I just built a model because I thought it was an unusual subject

that is why it never got to wear the mighty GTR badge and was adorned instead GTS-R
