Seeking hitch for 2004 Rodeo (3.5L)

I'm hoping someone can point me in the right direction. I'm looking for an after-market trailer hitch (class II-III) for a 2004 Rodeo with the 3.5L engine. I've visited the Hidden Hitch, Draw Tite and Reese websites, and they all indicate that their hitches will not fit the Rodeo equiped with the 3.5L engine. A few vendor sites also indicate this, but a few (www.hitchfinder.com) do not! Has anyone found a hitch that fits this particular vehicle?

Thanks!

THIS POST should answer most of your questions.

Smile Re: Seeking hitch for 2004 Rodeo (3.5L)

Thanks for the link...it did answer my question! As I secretly suspected, the 3.5L DI engine has an exhaust that gets in the way of hitches designed to fit that frame. It sounds like the those hitches will fit (same hole pattern) but will be rubbing up against that round can (i.e. muffler) near the end of the exhaust. I'm a bit disturbed that the stock Isuzu hitch was so incredibly difficult to install (see the link) and ended up being crooked after mounting.

Anyway, thanks again!
