6x9 help
I need new 6x9 for my 96 eclipse gsx with the infinity sound sytem installed. what brands would you recommend. Does anyone know the stock amp specifications?

Anything will work. It all depends on what brand you like. Personally I like Alpine, but Pinoeer has more bass.... it all depends on what you like.

Arn't the back speakers really 6.5"? I thought I read that somewhere, but maybe I'm way off. I remember people saying the back speaker mounts needed to be altered a little to fit 6x9".

They are. I think some came with 6x9s. Mine were 6.5. Had to do some work to make them fit, but it worked.

My stock rear speakers were 6x9's. I personally have audiobahn all around but I would love to get some infinity kappa's

I have a brand new set of Alpine Type R 6x9's that I want to get rid of. My car ended up having 6 1/2's instead so these were no good to me. PM me if your interested.
