Ain't it Beautiful.
Just wanted to show my lastest acquisition. I plan to install it soon with a walboro 190 fuel pump at about 14-15 psi. Im curious to see how it feels compared to the tiny t-25. It is a 16g BTW but im sure most of you can recognize it. Anyway wish me luck with the install. Ive learned how to install by various forums and tech articles. Any (Dont do) advise would be appreciated however.

Niiice, I bet you felt like an 8 year old on Christmas opening that box up in the mail. I know I always do when an order comes in haha. Good luck with the install and let us know how it goes.

Re: Ain't it Beautiful.
LOL. T-25 to 14b was a big diffrence for me, and the 14b to evo316g was HUGE diffrence. I went 14.0 et on t-25 to 12.4 on my evo3 the same 20psi boost..

Re: Ain't it Beautiful.
My advice is to install the oil feed line with alot of teflon, and don't over tighten it. You will crack the 2g filter housing. Replace the one turbo stud with a turbo bolt. Use Copper stick antiseze on the turbo/o2 bolts. If you can afford it, buy new turbo and o2 bolts. The stock o2 housing comes with one stud, some people take it out and use another o2 stud, but I kind of like it. It helps me line up the o2 gasket.
When you drain the coolant, TAKE THE RADIATOR out with the fans attached. All it consists of are 2 fan plugs, the upper and lower radiator hose clamps ane the 4, 14mm bracket bolts. You will really apreacate the extra room. Also when you unclamp the 2 tubro coolant lines, have a long hose handy that is snaked to a bucket. I forget the diameter, I think its the same size as the PCV nipple. ALOT of coolant poors out, almost a gallon... Buy new copper crush washers for the coolant lines and oil feed, 2 per line, 6 in total. They are hard as hell to find, I had to buy them at the dealership. You will also want the 91 oil return line with 2 new drain gaskets. You can modify the stock 2g drain by filing the bolt holes closer, but it's a huge nightmare.. Spend the extra $32 and get the line and gaskets. I've tried OEM, NAPA & Autozone turbo gasket kits. You can get a full gasket kit that has everything you need for about $36 including the oil drain gaskets, but the turbo and o2 gaskets are stock 6cm. With the 7cm evo3 I used the RRE $10 gasket kit.. Don't forget the Jpipe gasket while your at the dealership if you don't buy the full install kit.... When you install the turbo make sure you get the oil feed line attached to the turbo if you only have the 24" feed line, it doesn't give you a whole lot of room to play around with it. So just get it hand tight, then mount it up to the exhaust manny and tighten everyhing down.
