Rodeo fuel gauge gas problem issue sending unit needed
If your gas gauge is not working and you may have a check engine light on as well then you need a new fuel sending unit. Dealers may tell you that you need a new fuel pump and that a fuel sending unit is not available for your vehicle. However, this is not that case. I have Isuzu OEM/Factory fuel sending units that will fit any Rodeo and Passport from 1998-2002. You will not need to recalibrate anything and it should cost no more than $150 to install, or you can do it yourself in under 2 hours! This unit WILL fix you problem. Do not let the dealer rip you off! I fixed mine in my 2000 Rodeo 4x4 and figured I may as well help others out and save other hundreds of dollars. My item is for sale by calling Andy at (407) 625-4295 or [email protected] or by looking on eBay.com for Seller awnicol25. Good luck! Save some money!

Re: Rodeo fuel gauge gas problem issue sending unit needed
Its not a dealer problem its an Isuzu problem they provide info for the parts dept. they are all a buch of dummies who push buttons and pull parts if no one tells them that the 98 model sending unit fits the 04 pump they will never know.
now I am an Isuzu tech and if the sending unit on a 98 model is replaced and the PCM still has te old calibration and has never been ubdated then yes it will need to be done..... 99-04 never need programing remember if replacing the sender on a late model 00-04 model you will need to purchase a fuel pump seal the one in the box is an o-ring and may not fit your tank or easy way to remember if your tank is secured by 4 bolts you dont need to purchase the seal because you will use the blue o-ring that comes with the sender kit |
