Hi,will a worn front hub assembly make a pronounced "growling, grinding" sound while the truck is in motion? This is on a '99 Silverado 4x4.Thanks for any input

Re: right front hub assembly
70 Caprice...if you find you need a new hub I have one with the ABS sensor that I bought for my 2000 K1500 and never used. It is GM part number 15740291 which has been superceded by part number 15233113. I know they list for 230+ dollars but I bought it awhile ago for 140$. I'd sell it for $75 plus $20 for UPS ground shipping...it's heavy. It's never been installed.

Re: right front hub assembly
To answer your question, yes, it will growl rumble. Does sound like wheel bearings to me. Just had my driver side replaced.
