block heater

I looked online at my local autopart store for a blockheater (see link) they have sevral different ones, which one will be the best choice ?

As messy as it is I think I would go for the Frost plug style one. Then that way you don't ever have to worry about those pads coming off and either catching something or melting something else.

Mine came with the OEM one so can't say for sure exactly which one is better than the other...

Let us know which one you get...

That's the one I was thinking about, how exactly are they "connected" to the engine, are these screwed in ?

Good Point,
I believe they are put in just like your frost plug. Via Pressure.
First part is to get the frost plug out and then slide this one in and I guess it just sits in there via a pressed fitting.

Update:
Yet, some of them on their look like a threaded type??? Maybe a Stealership Inquiry??? I would imagine they all come with directions.
