Hey. Does anyone know where the govenor chip is located? Most cars have the chip to keep them from going over a certain speed, but i haven't been able to locate it on my '00 Cavalier. Oh and Can u take the Rev Limiter off? If anyone can help. Thanks

I have a 04 silverado with factory 20's. I put the truck on the highway and topped out between 95 and 100 mph that had me hot! the truck has a nice vortec 5300 v8, I need to know how to remove the govenor any info would help.

listen the limiter there is for a reason. The car isnt designed to go faster than 108MPH. The brakes, suspension and tires all need work to go that fast. Show me a timeslip of you going 108MPH in the 1/4 mile with some pics of the mods you have done and ill tell you how to do it.
