Help! HVAC dual zone control unit bad?

Hello all I just had all the blend doors and actuators replaced on my 2001 jeep GC driver/passanger/recirulation. Dealer did it for $390 and chrysler covered the parts. Car has 72000 miles and no warranty so I was susprised they did. I got the car back yesterday and everything works great except the recirulation button does nothing. Control unit was giving me an error code 14 which makes sense because it is for the recir motor not responding. So I took it back to the dealer today and they tested the door and said it is fine and is testing fine with the test equipment. They said the HVAC control unit is bad. I don't know what to think or do because it was fine 3 days ago other than the blend doors. Could it be that it did just happen to go bad around the same time? Or could have something happened to it during the repair.
