Bricklin SV1. Anybody working on one of them?

I am interested in info on Bricklin SV1. I am considering the purchase of one. It needs LOTS of work! the interior is trashed, I have no plan to restore it to stock appearance. I am most interested in anyone who has done bodywork on these cars. Is the panel fit as awfull as it seems? are the panels subject to heat warpage? I understand they have ford or AMC engines and that the steering and suspension components are predominatly AMC Javelin. I am most curious about "bodywork and panel issues". Thank you!
