Calsonic GTR (fin. pics)

Just finished my Calsonic GTR. It's now 10pm so I'll wait for tomorrow to get some nice outdoor shots.

Here's a not very accurate pic of the model now. The actual model appears a bit deeper and more blue-ish than the pic. But that's the best I could do for now.

That's for now. I'll see you guys tomorrow.

EDIT: new pics have been posted.

Looks sweet! Sooo much better then mine, after I did that kit i stopped buying Tamiya though. The tyre decals pissed me off! mine folded over and stuck to themselves.

Blue...

The 'Blue' I used is Mr Color's Bright Blue (#65). No mixing.

The actual colour on the model looks deeper. It's fairly close to the real pic of Calsonic GTR shown on the box. The first pic in the above post (in door, but bright outdoor) is probably the closest to the actual model.

Just to show how big a difference can the camera make... Have a look at the last two pics (top views, 1 interior and 1 exterior), both ext. and int. of the car have the identical colour.

Same here, I too like the 'screwed-up one ' the most, especially the gunmetal interior with red steering and seat. The car has a nice tuner-look and a very aggressive race-body kit (it 'was' a race car).

The white is from Mr Color as well. I don't have the name but it's pure glossy white.

What's my next project? I have few candidates (and a big plan) in mind but I am pretty sure I will most likely to continue with the 'screwed-up theme'.

Ah.. just don't screw up too much!
Sometimes it may turn out nice but if luck isn't with your side, it will turn out the other way from what you expect!
