Re: rs vs. z-24

I'm bringing this question back up because I'd like to know 2. I'd guessing that it's something to do with the fuel injection 'cause my 91 RS is TBI.

There's people on this forum who know a h*ll of a lot more than me though.

Re: rs vs. z-24

It was mainly a trim level. Kind of the difference between the LS and the LS sport of the newer model. you could get the 2.2 or the 3.1 in either car, but the z-24 has a different trim level, and I think slightly (like 2mm) larger sway bar. I had a 91 RS, I sure do miss it!

Re: rs vs. z-24

Well The Main Difference is the Body kit. The Z24 has the ground effects, and only has the 3.1L engine. The RS is the second level of cav. is has the guage packege and more than likely power windows and lock etc...

Re: Re: rs vs. z-24

marchi1, I love mine. It ran like crap when I got it (for $1000). I was able to nurse it back to health slowly. The only major problems I've had in the past 3 years is the starter (once) and Water pump (once).

Mine has manual accessories and basic gauges. My girlfriend had a 94 RS with Electric accessories and the Entire gauge package (RPM, Trip Distance, Wiper speed control...) so I guess not all RS's come with the good stuff.

I added a wiper control though so it's all good
